Chidiya Tapu is a small village with lush green mangroves armed all around ending with pristine creamy sands, wrapping tranquil islands and forest bestowed with numerous chirping birds making it an ideal picnic spot. It is the southernmost tip of South Andaman Island situated at a distance of 28 km from Port Blair. It is famous for the Chidiya Tapu Biological Park, the Munda Pahar beaches, bird watching, not-to-miss sunset view and scenic view vermillion of sand and oceanic view during sun set is a perfect place for nature lovers.
